A Word from Jimmy L. Carr

There are plenty summer activities available to all at Lake Junaluska. We invite you and your family to be part of our special July 4th Celebration. This year we will have patriotic music, a parade, barbeque lunch and a great Junaluska Singers concert. A fantastic fireworks show illuminated over Lake Junaluska will be the closing of a great day of celebrating the birth of our nation.

The new Bethea Welcome Center will be consecrated on July 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Nanci Weldon Gym. Making Disciples: Transforming the family, congregation and the World is the theme for this year’s SEJ Ministers’ Conference also starting on July 9. The plenary speaker is Michael Slaughter of Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, Ohio.
