    Lake Junaluska presents “Innovative Ideas for Planting and Accelerating Church Growth,” the 2012 African-American Clergy Leadership Retreat, April 16-18. This 3-day retreat will introduce pastors to proven innovative ideas and best practices that Impact UMC (!mpact) has used to create one of the fastest growing African-American churches in the UMC. Participants will receive key church development and redevelopment principles from members of Impact's lead team, based on Impact's book, Zero to 80: Innovative Ideas for Planting and Accelerating Church Growth.     Ministries with Young People at Lake Junaluska, NC present SURGE into Missions youth summer camps, weeks and weekends between June 14 – July 22, 2012. Through our amazing group of summer staff, inspiring mission experiences, relevant speakers and dynamic worship, youth will learn how to live out their faith.     Summer Worship Series at Lake Junaluska
    Worship and Preaching has been one of the central hallmarks of the Lake Junaluska experience since its inception.  Each summer, in the context of engaging worship, liturgy and music, Lake Junaluska brings to the Stuart Auditorium pulpit nationally and globally known preachers.  Stay at the Lake on Sundays and attend one or more of the four Sunday worship experiences: Holy Communion,  Morning Praise Prayer Service, and Morning Worship and Adult Sunday School Music by the Lake Junaluska Singers is a part of the Stuart Auditorium service, and lively congregational singing is woven into all of the services.     Florida Fellowship Summer Church Music Workshop
    Florida Fellowship's 56th Annual Summer Church Music Workshop: This year's theme, "Celebrating Our Journey: The Seasons of Faith," is based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-11. Clinicians for the workshop will be Adult Choral Clinician Ken Berg, composer and co-director of the Birmingham (AL) Boys Choir; Youth Clinician Andrew Minear, Director of Choral Activities at Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando; Handbell Clinician Sharon Brant, organist/music director at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Dade City; and Workshop Pastor, Dr. Kandace Brooks, Director of Community Formation and Affiliate Professor of Worship at Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando. Our Annual Church Music Workshop is for adults and youth (College, High School and Middle School) and has a variety of seminars to meet everyone's music ministry needs.
